aw.. ICEP is really damn fun lo.. really miss those foreign cadets very much.. Booked in to HQ NCC on the wednesday night and stay through out till sunday. on the wednesday nite, was a CAmp pinnacle nite. Its was very interesting as different country will go up and present their own country thing. Be it culture or lame jokes or funny things, all of them are so interesting.
The australian cadets presented some of their cultural thing if i'm not wrong. kinda interesting ya.. then follow by the america cadets. the american do some marching actions with the US army song. the US army song was a very nice song. i like it very much. the US cadets certainly did a gd job. after the US cadets is the hong kong cadets. they presented a skit about chinese new year. its not that funny or interesting but its the effort that counts ya. so i still appreciate wat they ded. following up is the Uk cadets. they presented a song to everyone. however, this songs requires volunteer to do action. CLTs and cadets are being called up. i'm one of them of coz.. we were being instructed by SAM to do those different actions. its was quite fun though was a bit embarassing ya.. hahaz... lastly were the india cadets.. their presentation was one of the best. one female cadet went out with their traditional dress and a pot of fire on her head, dancing around.. it was very interesting and everyone applauded loudly. after the dance, they presented their cultural dance. quite interesting ya.
after the camp pin nite, everyone haf their supper and head back to their bunk. every morning, when the cadets went to visit different parts of singapore or some events, i got to go school. so miss out quite some time with them. thursday night was 48th intake CLT passing out ceremony. foreign cadets are cordially invited to witness the ceremony. they gave 10/10 for the CLT passing out ceremony. after the ceremony, everyone head back to their bunk as they were tired.
Friday nite was a farewell dinner for all the foreign cadets as they will be leaving on either saturday or sunday. the dinner was a nice one. i was like a pig, eat and eat and eat.. but i haven finish njoying certain fd, the waiter/waitress take away the food liao.. cock sia.. anyway, i'm fat, beta don eat much.. hahaz.. once again, individual country went up to the small stage to give a talk.. first is australia. every sing the australia song with great joy.. (I still call Australia.. I still call Australia.. I still call Australia.. HOME.........) was a very nice song too.. following up is the us cadet. they onli gave a speech . same for UK too.. then its hong kong turn. they did some lame shit. at first, ppl don catch wat they are doing.. but after tt, ppl begin to catch wat they are doing.. some lame kung fu stuff.. then is the INDIA CADETS turn.. they took 20 minutes on the presentation. they say out all their country different aspect. religion,tourism,army,economy,ncc,places of interest and MORE!!! wooooow... so damn powerful!!!!
Then.. its saturday.. the first country to depart is Hong KOng.. we send them to the airport. we took photos and bid farewell to each other.. then the nxt country to be send off will be at nite. the UK and US cadet will be catching their nite plane.. mean time, they went to shop. time flies ya, its almost time to go to the airport. for this few days, SAM from UK, was the closest to us. on out way to airport, we sang lots of songs together in the bus. everyone was feeling very sad as we are going to dart from each other in no time. however, we control our emotion and carry to sing as we go. the atmosphere in the bus was saturated with joy and laughter.
We reach the airport in no time and we unloaded the luggage for them. as i push the trolley in, i was feeling down. kept trying to control mi precious tears from rolling down my cheeks. i think of the things that i hate most in order to counter my emotions. every thing was fine. when SAM hugged me, i cant take it anymore and broke down.. OMG.. tt was so pai sae lo.. but i donno y, i juz wanna cry when i say bb to him... i was like a leader over there.. leader as in lead everyone to cry.. LOL.. after i cry, all begin to shed tears too. my influence tt big??? lolx.. everyone's eyes was red and swollen.. feeling very very sad at tt point of time. as we see them in to the check in counter, tears begin to roll down again.. haiz.. so sad.. but nvm, still in contact after all.. minutes after sam went in, the us cadets went in to.. then we left the airport...
then nxt day, sunday, australia and india will be leaving. we went to sent the australia to the airport... india cadets was so bad, rather stay in bus then to send the australia cadets off. we took group foto and send went to a cafeteria to haf coffee with them b4 they check in. moments lata, its time for them to check in and we bid farewell to them.. no one shed tears except for a friend of mine, kevin. hahaz...
after sending the australian cadets off, we went back to the coach. we send the india cadets to haf their breakfast at the macdonalds. they took their own sweet time to eat but its ok la... as usual, take a group foto b4 they bought up the bus... we send them straight to the airport and see them off.. we take foto with them again and see them in to the check in counter.. after they gone in, everyone was so... HAPPY!!!! mission accomplished yea... can go home and haf a gd rest liao.. hahaz.. anyway, ICEP is really a great great programme ya!!! hope to be invloved in it again in year 2005 which is nxt ear.. hahaz.. =D
